Thrive as a Teenager
Thrive for Teenagers is a version of the main Thrive Programme, with key information extracted and integrated into a fun design, geared specifically
toward teenagers.
Through the Thrive Programme young people learn the skills and techniques to overcome issues such as anxiety, exam stress, low self esteem and/or confidence, fears and phobias or any other problem that may be causing distress or concern.
The Thrive for Teenagers Programme is accompanied by an easy to follow manual and is designed to create the strong psychological foundations needed to gain a sense of power and control over their life. At each stage the trainee is given ‘Actions’ to follow and summaries of key points to give them a real head start in life.
Most psychological symptoms and problems stem from an individuals limiting beliefs and thinking styles. The Thrive principles explored during sessions and in the workbook aim to equip teenagers with the skills they need to overcome existing symptoms and, by understanding their origins, prevent re-creation or occurrence.
By developing positive beliefs and thinking styles the individual learns to embrace future hurdles or challenges in life, facing change with psychological strength and resilience.
